September 2008 Dear Parents: The Oakville School District participates in the School wide Title I Program. Your students have Highly Qualified teachers for the 2008-2009 school year. If you would like to know more about their qualifications, you may do so. Most of the teachers have a Masters degree. Many of the teachers have accrued more credits and clock hours through their teaching degrees. During the 2007-2008 year, the district utilized one unqualified teacher in the area of mathematics. This teacher was placed on a plan for the summer of 2008 which allowed her to gain the necessary credits to become highly qualified for this coming school year.
